Micro ventilation / heat extraction system for a caravan or small room. A dramatic example of how a minute amount of solar power, and some lateral thinking, can defeat a vast amount of solar energy from overheating an enclosed space. Mount the turbo fan in the ceiling, directly above a window that is subject to the direct impact of solar radiation, and the hot air is sucked out of the room as fast as it is produced. The above Micro Ventilation systems DO NOT include "AVA" the controller. Thus, the fans simply
run at varying speed, depending on the intensity of solar radiation striking the solar panel. If you wish to operate the fans at a constant speed, or sustain them after dark, then you will need "AVA", with her advanced, in built NiMh battery ( Nickel Metal Hydride). 12 volt x 5 Amp hour = 60 watt-hour battery. This will run 2 x 3 watt fans for 10 hours after sundown. ( or 3 fans for just under 7 hours. )
The NiMh battery is around half the size of a comparable lead / acid unit, and cannot be damaged
by over discharging. Neither does it exhibit "memory effect" as does Nicad.
