REVELATIONS 11-18. "I will bring to ruin those who ruin the earth" !

The sad story of the greatest energy con job in the Southern hemisphere, began 13 years ago, in a parallel universe, not very far away,
during the reign of the Scrounger Emperor, Little Johnny the First. ( Known as "Coal Face" to his closest supporters!!! ) Now Little Johnny was a "coinophile" . He loved building up his treasury to the roof with ill gotten gain, at the expense of the future.

One day, whilst strolling around his castle grounds, Little Johhny was hoodwinked, and dragged kicking and screaming by the Greens party to give rebates on solar power systems. In rage he summoned the barons of Fossildom , and together hatched an evil plot called the Solar Sham Scam.

The Sham Scam is crude in design, yet subtle in operation! It appears to address an area of public concern,yet does very little, like one foot on the accelerator and the other on the brake.

It benefits the administrators and industry participants, more than a select group of government sanitized consumers. Not to mention that growth in new and hopelessly inappropriate architecture, bristling with air conditioners, dwarfs the growth in solar uptake entirely. One has to ask where is mess leading?
 
The Australian Solar Power Industry lacks innovation and competition. There have been many negative consequences from this, to the detriment of the majority of citizens, who cannot access equipment or rebates, due to inflated prices directly caused by the rebates themselves.
 
Applied solar energy is actually quite simple. The circuitry is relatively simple, and the operating principles just basic laws of Physics that are easily understood by most. Hardly more than Primary school mathematics. So why all the bureaucracy? And the Clean Energy Council? And the retarded, ridiculous and restrictive accreditations, denying access to a vast army of electronics literate tradespeople of many disciplines?
 
A "Power play" is going on here. It is wrong, and against the long term public interest!  We need an open, fair and efficient solar power industry so that pricing and innovation reach fervent pitch.
 
Many approach the 'Singularity', earnestly wringing their hands. Few are favorably received due to matters of the heart.
The Sun belongs to all, not just to a select few!!!
